Television VS Movies

Rose McGowan has said she rather be acting in movies, than television shows. She is not the only one. According to Hollie McKay from Fox New (Pop Tarts), www.foxnews.com, Mischa Barton is another person who feels that way. “I started doing film when I was 1, and I love it — it is the best experience for me,” she told McKay, Barton continues by stating some good points to movies, “Each film that you do — it is like a little group that you make friends with and you have that for life. When you go on a television series, it is a different thing. Of course you have it for life, but it’s a long-running show and it’s not the same kind of temporary kinetic energy that you get from a movie.”

For me, I would act in both, as long as I can work with some of my favorite actress and actors… I guess I should not be so picky.

Mischa Was an Excellent Student

Mischa Barton is not just talented and beautiful, but was also an excellent student while attending school. Barton, while at Sundance, told author Hollie Mckay from Fox News (Pop Tarts), www.foxnews.com, “I went to public school in New York until I was about 15, so I had a definite school experience, the whole nine yards,” she continues, “But I loved school, though. I was actually really academic, so I liked it … it was a lot of fun.”

I personally did not love getting up each morning and going to school, like many students. But I can say that there were some classes that I looked forward to. These classes were choir, Musical Theater (or acting) and English. Then, of course, I loved when I had time to sit around and talk to my friends without having to worry about science and math.

I wonder what her favorite class was in school? I am not sure, but could one of them have been Art? Mischa told www.superiorpics.comhttp://www.superiorspics.com, “I love to draw people’s faces. I do that all the time

Mischa Wants to Take a Break

According to Kevin Williamson from the Edmonton Sun, www.edmontonsun.com, Mischa Barton plans on taking a break from Hollywood. Barton plans on traveling, but where? “I love Ireland. I love London because my sister lives there. I even just like going out to the desert outside of L.A.,” Mischa told Williamson. London and Ireland, two places that this writer would love to visit someday. Mischa continues, “I’m half-Irish, so I have family in Ireland. I’ve been going there since I was a child.” In today’s media, there is one thing that is certain, news travels around the world. Mischa states, “News reaches Ireland too, believe it or not, even to the smallest towns. They all worry about me.”

No matter where she goes, I hope she has a fun and safe trip.

Mischa is Not Always in Trouble

With the media coverage all on the fact that Mischa Barton got a DUI and is waiting for her court date, you may start to think that she is always in trouble. That is not true. Her mother, Nuala, told www.usatoday.com, “The press has been trumping up things more than they should.” What I would love to hear is some good news. Like is she having fun at the Sundance Film Festival?

Adding to what her mother said, Mischa continues, “If people only know how much I work. When I’m in my work, I don’t go out, I only work. Nine months out of the year, I really work, I have a normal group of friends. The TV show is enormously popular, but there’s a downside to that. If things get out of whack in the press, you learn to deal with it.”

Now that is good advice for all the celebrities out there. When you think about, it is good advice for anyone out there. Rumors do seem to fly everywhere, and there is not one person who is safe from them.

What Does Mischa Want in a Man?

We know Mischa has had a difficult time finding a man. And now she has finally given men around the world of what she is looking for in a man. And she is not looking for any more “immature” men.

“I’d like someone who makes me laugh,” She told www.showbizspy.com, “I like an intellectual guy, because I love to read. If they like movies, book and music, we’re pretty alright. And I’d like someone who’s mature. God, I can’t take another immature person.”

What she listed is what many women would like in a man (or at least some of the traits). For me, it looks like she is looking for a man with a good head on his shoulders. I am sure she will find her Mr. Right.

Jack Osbourne Stands Up For Mischa

Jack Osbourne, who is Ozzy Osbourne’s son, stood up for Mischa Barton following her arrest for her DUI. This was a wonderful thing for him to do, considering people do like to judge. Jack, who is 22-year-old, has had his own problems with drinking and drugs.

He insists Barton isn’t the first person to break the law. According to www.showbizspy.com, Jack told them, “Everyone gets DUI,” he continues, “You only hear about it when celebrities get them.” I have to disagree with Jack on one part that, not everyone gets one. I do agree on the fact, you do only hear about it if it is a celebrity or you hear about it more for whom they are.

When you are in the public eye, a lot of the media is waiting for you to make a mistake, take a look at Britney Spears there are updates on her every day if not more. Mischa Barton will bounce back from this.

Thanks to Jack Osbourne for taking a stand for Mischa. I wish more celebrities who would do the same thing.

Mischa’s New Team.

According to www.eonline.com, Mischa Barton has hired a new public relations team and a new lawyer. She is hoping to “bounce back,” from her December 27 DUI. Her new lawyer is Anthony V. Salerno, who will now take care of all her legal troubles. And from Fifteen Minutes, she has hired publicists Howard Bragman and Lisa Perkins, sources say.

Mischa will be at the Sundance Film Festival later on this month. She will be promoting her new movie, Assassination of a High School President, which is a teen comedy. The movie is about stolen SAT exams. Bruce Willis is co-starring with her in this comedy.

This new team maybe a great thing for her. It seems like she has hired a great lawyer, which I have looked him up on www.lawyers.com. She has picked a wonderful publicist/s.

Let’s Go Team!

Mischa Barton Speaks Out.

Mischa Barton is finally talking about her DUI, which took place early in the morning on December 27. When she got pulled over, the police also found out that she did not have a valid license.

“Obviously I’m 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case,” she told Ryan Seacrest, on his LA radio show. It is great that at least one celebrity is owning up to what she or he did. She didn’t blame her friends, parents or her past.

“I’m really disappointed in myself. I don’t know what to say about it, except that I’m not perfect, and I just don’t ever intend to do something this stupid again.” I hope she does learn something from her DUI. I do not want her to be one of them that we have to worry about something happening to them. Those who are having a nervous break down, or one that is in and out of rehab Maybe she can be a spoke person for not drinking and driving.

“I was out with some friends and actually hadn’t been driving earlier in the night, but I wanted to get my car home.” Mischa explained. “I can’t really get into specifics. We’ve got the case coming up, and I’m not supposed to say anything about what happened, I was pulled over,” as she continues the interview with Seacrest, “I didn’t have a license. I grew up in New York, the land of people who don’t have to drive. It’s always been the toughest thing about living in L.A. for me. I usually try not to get behind the wheel.”

It looks like she has learned her lesson. At least I hope so. I do not want her to end up like the other celebs who have been in the news recently. There are many adults and teens out there doing the same thing. The truth is, for personal reasons, I do not like any kind of alcohol. So I do not drink alcohol. But to anyone that has made a mistake, they deserve a second chance.

Are There No Good Men in Hollywood?

Can you believe that 21-year-old Mischa Barton has problems finding the right man in Hollywood? I would think they would be lined up waiting for a chance to date her, but they may not be her type.

Mischa is single now after dating, Cisco Adler who is 28 years old, for a year and a half. Adler is the front man for the band Whitestarr. Barton told the Sunday Mirror to, “find prospective boyfriends in Hollywood can be difficult. I have met a lot of idiots.”

She is lucky to have friends looking out for her and keeping her safe. They make sure that they keep away the guys who could mess up her life. “……. I have a very tight circle of friends who have a good radar for people who are out for the wrong things.”

There are many people who only want to date celebrities. It could be for their money, who they are or how the celebrity can help them in their entertainment career. I am sure it is hard for them to know if the person they are dating really cares about them. My advice for all the celebrities out there – never date anyone else that is in the public eyes.
