Mischa Charged With Four Counts of Misdemeanors

I knew it was coming, but I was not sure when. Mischa Barton has been charged with four counts of misdemeanors, according to the court papers and MSNBE. The charges are:

1. She was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

2. Mischa was driving while having a 0.08 percent or higher blood alcohol level.

3. Barton was driving without a valid license.

4. She was in possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana.

Her arraignment on these charges is supposed to be on Thursday and held in Beverly Hills Superior Court. I guess we will have to see what happens on Thursday. Luckily they are just misdemeanors. Not that misdemeanors are good, but it could be worse. Let us hope the Judge will be easy on her.

Mischa’s Next Movie

Mischa is back to work, according to Gossip Girls. Mischa, who plays Shelby, has begun filming her next movie, “Homecoming.” The movie is about “Shelby who has a plan in store for her former beau, who is coming back to his small town with a new lover.” This movie is supposed to be a thriller, and there is not an approximate release date yet.

It is great that she has begun filming a new movie always giving her fans something to look forward to. And she has many more roles she will be filming in the future. So it looks like she will be busy for sometime. Of course, she is a talented actress.

The Movie Jumper is No. 1

Congratulations to the Actresses/Actors, writers, producers, directors and so on of the film Jumper. The movie is now No. 1 in theaters (in most places), according to Josh Friedman of the Los Angeles Times, www.latimes.com. The movie, overseas, took in around 28.2 million.

Misha Barton told The Sun, www.thesun.co.uk, That “Jumper was so much fun to film, as grueling as it was.”

Jumper is going on the list of movies that I want to see. I already have a long list, but I can always add another. Congratulations Misch. This may raise the movie offers that you have available. Keep up the good work.

Mischa Barton’s Secret Boyfriend

Mischa Barton seems to have a secret boyfriend. According to Daily Mail, www.dailymail.co.uk, she is dating her Brett Simon. He directed her in the movie, The Assassination of High School President.

A source told the Daily Mail, “This is a major love affair.” Their relationship seems to be heating up – not slowing down. Could this be Mister Right? I guess we will have to wait patiently to find out.

The source continues, “They became very close right from the start of shooting last summer, and Mischa was pretty insecure about carrying the movie.” It is hard to believe that Barton would be insecure about anything. She seems so comfortable in everything she does. Simon helped her with her character and getting herself ready for the role.

Mischa Was a Loner?

Remembering back, I wanted to be popular in high school, to be the head cheerleader and be the leader in our dance group. I wanted the feeling of all eyes on me. Now some of you may be popular, some have a small group of tight friends and others are “loners.”

According to www.azcdntral.com, Mischa considered herself as a loner, “I was not popular in high school, I can definitely say that. I only had, like, three boys who were my friends and one girl. I was a bit of a loner, I guess.”

She does not seem like the loner type. A loner just stays by their selves, and does not want anything to do with anyone. I believe she had a tight group of friends. Friends, you can talk to and tell them everything.

Mischa Barton Did Not Plan to Act

Can you believe that Mischa Barton never wanted to become an actress? Acting is the chosen job for many of the people in Hollywood, waiting for their “big break.” According to www.pr-inside, Barton just thought of it as a hobby for her, until she finally settled on it as a career when she was cast in The O.C.

Mischa told Moviehole.net, “There was a brief time when I was in my early teens when I considered dropping acting, and I wasn’t that into it. I was one of those kids who was willing to try other things, other careers, and go to college. I just happened to get cast on The O.C., but I was never set on it.”

Luckily for her fans she made it more than a hobby. I cannot imagine the entertainment field without her talent.
