According to Marie Claire, www.marieclaire.co.uk, Mischa Barton would like to change the lives of millions. She is asking people in The United Kingdom to change their normal bottled water, and buy a bottle of”One,” as part of World Water Day.

All the profits will go toward giving villages and schools, in Africa, clean and safe water to drink. There are currently around 1.1 billion people around the world that do not have clean and safe drinking water. Because of that, there are about two million people who die each year from unsafe water.

Mischa, who is One’s new ambassador, said, “the installation of so many PlayPumps is a great achievement. Not only have UK shoppers provided clean and safe drinking water for schools and communities but this means that children can be children; they can go to school, they can get an education and they can play.“ “One” water can be picked up at Co-Op. Morrisons, Tesco, Waitrose and Total petrol Sations.

I do not see why it is just in the United Kingdom, I know that many people and I would be interested in buying the water to help out. Maybe one of these days we will be able to help out by drinking “One.”

There are many clothing lines out there who are designed by celebrities. One that comes to mind is Mary-kate and Ashley Olsen. According to www.smh.com.au, Mischa Barton has been approached for her own line, “I get approached all the time to start my own clothing line, and I admire people like Gwen Stefani who make clothes that reflect their personality,” she told them “I think it’s such an interesting, creative field, and I love to be unique. My worst nightmare would probably be wearing the same thing as somebody else. But I’m really picky so it would probably take me forever to finish something.”

It would be great if Mischa would start her own line of clothing. I would love to see what she would design, and if I could wear it.

Even though Barton is not interested in her own line of clothing, she still has many other interests. She likes to write, art and psychology. So which interests come first in her list of talents. It would be acting first,”… I love it,” Barton says, “It’s the only thing that brings my true personality out and makes me feel comfortable.”

Mischa has just finished filming “Homecoming,” which is her first film she produced.

According to, www.smh.com.au, Mischa Barton denies being a party girl. Barton believes that the image was made up by the media, “I don’t know what all the fuss is about honestly,” Barton says, “Because when I’m in New York nobody follows me around, the paparazzi never get pictures of me. I live a completely normal life. I go to Los Angeles [or Sundance] for one day and there’ll be like 80 shots and people stalking me.”

For Barton, it is hard to see herself as the “party girl,” that many people think she is, “It’s funny, because I’ve always been like the big sister to all my friends and I’m like the mom to my little sister,” she says. “So I don’t look at myself a lot or what I’m going through. So when I start going through things I’ll reflect it off. I don’t like to deal with stuff for me. I’m better at dealing with stuff for other people. That’s what I’m use to.” Now why can’t the media write about this side of her?

Mischa Barton was recently out to lunch with her new boyfriend, Taylor Locke, who is the guitarist for the rock band Rooney, according to People Magazine, www.people.com.

Later, she stopped by a memorial concert for the young Brandon Schantz, who was a film marker who died way too soon, at the Roxy. Her boyfriend’s band was going to be playing. When she got there, she went backstage, then later on she was walked to a booth where she could enjoy the music.

After the show, she went backstage to meet up with Locke. Soon after that they left the Roxy together.

Mischa Barton doesn’t regret being on the show “The O.C.” She believes that taking on the role of Marissa Copper has helped her acting ability, according to www.femalefirst.co.uk.

“Marissa was a multitude of people, and that opened me up as an actor — even though it was hard for me at the time to handle that character. But it worked out in the end because I got to do so many emotionally gutsy thing,” she told Female First, “They originally wanted to play Marissa as a valley girl — a dumb blond airhead. but I was against that.”

I can understand why she would not like her character to be that way. A lot of blonds do get stuck with that stereo type, and it is hard to get away from that image.

According to Female First, www.femalefirst.co.uk, Mischa Barton would like to play the role of Supergirl. She wants to be able to wear a “skin tight leotard.” I have to admit, that she does have the figure to do so. I would not be caught at home in one, to say nothing about in public.

She may get her wish as she is one of the favorite actresses to be cast, in the role of the superhero, in the new comic movie.

Barton would jump at the opportunity to play that hero, ”I’d love to wear the skintight leotard - it would be pretty awesome. But everybody in Hollywood goes up for these films. I haven’t been offered anything yet.”

I think she would be great in that role, so lets hope that she gets it.

According to www.pagesix.com, Mischa Barton and her lawyer, Anthony Salerno, are hoping she will get off with probation plus alcohol awareness class for her sentence of driving under the influence. Her lawyer is confident that they will get that deal before they have to go back to court. Luckily the court has granted them a continuance, and they are not due back in court until April 10.

I cannot image what she must be going through. Waiting is hard to do when you are faced with theses charges or any charges for that matter. Let us hope that she gets that deal from the court.

I found an interesting fact, about Mischa, on the Daily Times website, www.dailytimes.com.pk, she likes to watch documentaries on Animal Plant. “It’s relaxing and you learn the most random facts,” Mischa said as she talked to In Style Magazine, “I’m fascinated by anything shark-related.” The shark ones could be interesting, and I am sure that they do have a lot of facts on them.

Animal Plant does have great documentaries. You just to have to find something that you are interested in – something that catches your eye. I would watch them, as long as it wasn’t a snake documentary. My favorite would be anything to do with penguins.

There have been rumors going around that Mischa Barton was going to join the cast of Gossip Girls. According to StarPulse.com, Barton has denied the rumors, and she has said many times that she turned down the role. A spokesperson for Mischa stated, “she will not be on the show. She was approached, but her reps passed.”

The role that she was offered was of Georgina Sparks, who was a “reformed party girl,” which would be type casting. It would be too much like the character, Marissa Cooper, on The O.C., that she played before.

Mischa has admitted before that she prefers acting in movies.
