The 411

According to www.okmagazine.com, Mischa Barton cleared up the girl on girl kiss picture, on her blog.

“As I’m sure most of you have already seen, I was photographed at my 23rd birthday party engaging in what most of the gossip blogs refer to as a ‘girl-on-girl kiss.’ Well, I just wanted to take this moment to clear the air by saying that the kiss was purely platonic! We were joking around and it was taken out of context. The anonymous female I was photographed with is actually my close friend Irina. Irina works as a model in Paris and since meeting a few months ago we have been spending a lot of time together. We share a lot of the same interests and I really enjoy her company. I guess you can say she’s become my Paris partner in crime! So no, I haven’t switched teams. In fact, I have someone else that is keeping me occupied at the moment ;)

Mischa Bartons’s VBlog

According to http://style.hollyscoop.com, Mischa Barton is the new face of Herbal Essences. I am sure that doing this will get her back out there for more jobs. Well that is if she wishes.

She is also on the cover of the February issue of UK Cosmo.

On her blog, Mischa wrote about how she felt when Obama was sworn in as President on Tuesday.

She wrote:

“I think that the inauguration today was absolutely incredible. Obama’s speech rung so true and is the reason why I made myself an American citizen.

I cried, I won’t lie. I cried for the people being hit by our economic crisis, including my friends, and for the people who don’t understand the spirit of good Americans. I cried because I had a press day where I had to answer worthless questions about fame and his speech was so right that that has nothing to do with the hard work that made the fabric of the American nation.

Had he not won, I would not be proud to be an American any longer. I live in France for the freedom America once offered — I have all my faith in Obama. I’m not a religious person but may God bless him and his family.”

The One Make-Up Item That Mischa Barton Does Not Go Without

A few video’s from her page. The first one will be about make, and the other video was taken at her lunch time. Both clips are short.

Matin Sheen Was Mischa Barton’s Rock

According to www.contactmusic.com, Mischa Barton said on her blog that Martin Sheen was her rock while filming “Bhopal”

“Martin is an incredible human, actor and my rock through our part of filming. His kindness overwhelmed me, as well as his professionalism and just how down to earth he is. Those are the kind of actors I respect; no matter how famous you get, you remind yourself you’re doing what you love to do. Even when it’s grueling and we are re-writing all the lines ourselves, it’s fun with someone like him. Martin even gave me his fancy trailer and took mine which was half the size and when I brought him a small gift the next day to say thank you he gave me a rosary. I agree you don’t have to be into one religion, but it’s a good luck charm, and I will not forget his kindness. When you work with talented people when you’re young, it makes it so easy to give a great performance. He was my rock.”

I have to agree with Mischa, I respect those celebrities that are kind and down to earth.

Purses. Purses… And More Purses.

Finally. Now not only people in the UK get to buy Mischa Barton handbags, but it is now open for everyone to get. Mischa has opened a online store for her bags, according to Sinead 0′Donoghue, writer for www.look.co.uk.

Here is the link to her online store http://www.mischabartonhandbags.com/

They even have a discount sale part, where you can buy last year’s bags.

I visited the site and the bags look great. The only bad part about it is that the cost are in pounds. Wish there was an easy way to translate that. I was never good at math.

Christmas vacation in Goa

This is Mischa Barton’s Blog of her site http://mischabarton.celebuzz.com.

“The ocean there was so beautiful and warm I didn’t want to get out. I would swim all day, ate mostly a vegetarian diet and bought some beautiful things from the vendors I bargained with — jewelry, saris, you name it.

Christmas was certainly different this year, as I usually ski during the holiday. But the Christmas display in Goa was beautiful.”

I bet the ocean would be beautiful there.

Mischa In India

On http://mischabarton.celebuzz.com, Mischa talked about her being in India.

“So guys India has been amazing. A little frenetic, as they do things a little different here! So it’s been tough with the long shoot days to check in much! But the people are amazing, so eager to please and I’ve learned so much from them.

I’ve been having an amazing spiritual exploration visiting Hindu temples and learning about Buddhism, both beautiful religions. Hyderabad where we’re filming is a real inspiration in the fact that Christians, Muslims and Hindus all get along so harmoniously. I must admit I used to make fun of people who were all into yoga and chai tea thinking it was another ridiculous health fad. But now I’m that person! First of all Masala Chai tea, the traditional way with milk and sugar is delicious, and this is coming from a brit who only likes my breakfast tea!

I must say my goal coming here was to learn to play the sitar and it’s coming along real slow as apparently it’s not that easy to procure a great sitar teacher here, I guess it not late 60’s with Ravi Shankar and George Harrison roaming around unfortunately!!!!

Goa was my christmas break, and it was stunning, I actually went to South Goa (which isn’t the party side of town) thats the North bit, but I’ll post tons of footage for you guys out there. If only technology didn’t hate me and I was decent with electronics! But I went parasailing, jet skiing and swimming in the ocean for ages every day. The colors, fabrics, food will blow your mind….so stay tuned to see me on my vacation and what I got up to.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY CHANUKAH and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! xx ”

Sounds like she is having a great time. Possible a good place to visit, but I am afraid of planes.
