So I just arrived in Montreal on Monday to film my new CW pilot “A Beautiful Life.” It’s feels great to be back on set again. I really like the structure that series television brings to my daily schedule. Couldn’t have written a better-suited project myself.

I’ve always enjoyed fashion and now I get to play a character who’s immersed in it. Pretty cool having Ashton Kutcher to report to as well since he’s producing it.

I’ll be in Montreal until April 9th when shooting wraps but I’ll keep all of you posted on how everything is going!”

Mischa Barton Is Not a Big Fan of Marriage

Mischa Barton is not a big fan of marriage, according to www.chinadaily.com.cn.

“I’m not a huge fan of marriage. It puts too much pressure on the relationship. People try harder until they’re married and then you see a lot of relationships fall apart because it’s the last step. There’s nothing left.”

You have to work at every relationship. It really is not that bad. Mischa does believe that she will settle down one day

“Whoever is going to be the father of my children I’ll probably inevitably marry – but that’s not on the cards any time soon.”

Not only does Emma Watson have this problem, but so does Mischa.

“I have noticed that some men are scared of me because I have been on television. I have quite a few diehard fans.”

So what does Mischa look for in a man?

“I find men with confidence and a great sense of humour very attractive. Those are the two factors that matter the most.”

According to Tiffany Warner, writer for www.examiner.com, Mischa Barton has been told to gain weight for her new role in Ashton Kutcher CW show – - “A Beautiful Life.” Mischa was told to put on weight for the role because the producers feel that she is to thin. It is a good reason, the producers do not want to send a wrong image to girls. The show is geared toward teenage girls.

Mischa wrote on her blog about her break with rocker Luke Pritchard. This is what she wrote:

“I’m sure you guys are all going to hear about it soon enough so I just wanted to tell you what is real first — I broke up with Luke when I got to London. Things just didn’t feel quite right. There was no cheating or anything terrible, the bad just started to outweigh the good and a long distance relationship is never an easy thing to do.

I hope that the press will show some respect in the near future as we both find it very difficult to deal with a lot of attention or speculation from the media. I think Luke is a great guy, but the type better suited as a friend. We have a surprising amount of mutual friends in England and I don’t regret our time together, I just couldn’t keep it going.

There is no bitterness between us…that I know of (sorry, I had to joke!). If there ever is a case of two people staying friends I’m sure it will be the case with us — our personalities are very good for that.

I think it is great that Luke and Mischa are able to still be friends. I have never been able to be friends with any of my exs.

Science of Cool

According to www.imdb.com and /www.myspace.com/scienceofcoolmovie, Mischa Barton will be in a movie called Science of Cool. Mischa’s character’s name in Jane. It also stars Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince actress Jessie Cave, and Cheetah Girl Kiely Williams.

According to the movie’s myspace page, the movie is about ” Neil Tobbler and his best friend Gilbert Stevens are the biggest geeks in their school who love science class, get good grades, are socially inept, and just can’t seem to get a break from anyone they meet in their lives, until they stumble upon a formula which can transform nerds into studs. Life changes instantly before their eyes, or does it?”

No Melrose Place for Mischa

According to Gina Serpe, writer for www.eonline.com, Mischa Barton will not be in the remake of Melrose Place. As a matter of fact, she has signed on for Ashton Kutcher new drama, A Beautiful Life.is about:”a group of models living together in a coed residence in New York City. Barton will play Sonja, a supermodel struggling to stay atop the fashion pack.”

“The show will be racy, drugs, drinking, things like that,” Mischa told E! News.

I think that is a show I could watch. Anyway it is by Ashton Kutcher, so it has to be good.

Mischa Barton is an Actress

According to www.contactmusic.com, Mischa parents do not understand that she is an actress.

“My mom and dad are still a bit confused and cautious about what I do. My dad is a stockbroker who studied law and economics and his dad was a politician. But I know him and my mom are still very proud of me.”

It is always great to know when a parent/s are proud of you.

It has been rumored that Mischa Barton may be cast in a role for the remake of “Melrose Place,” according to www.aceshowbiz.com. It has been reported that the producers are in a negotiation with Mischa.

I did not watch “Melrose Place” the first time. I could not get into the show, but if Mischa is cast in a role on the remake – - I would watch it.

Mischa….. If this is true, just my advice…. Take it. You can still act in movies when you are not working. Well, that is what I would do.
