Mischa Barton Club

Mischa Barton talked to Time Out New York about the hospital stay and the involuntary psychiatric hold that she was placed under.

“Here’s what happened: Before the show started, I was traveling abroad for contract stuff and I went through a terrible surgery—a wisdom tooth surgery, all four removed. It was a nightmare. I’ve never had surgery before—it all went wrong and I had to have a second surgery and it almost delayed shooting because it was a nightmare to me, because I couldn’t deal with the thought of not getting there on time. So with the travel, and surgery and prep for the show—it was hell.”

“I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once. The show, travel and then this fairly routine surgery that went wrong,” she continues. “I was down in the dumps about everything there for a while. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom about things and have to get the most stressed-out just to feel better again. I got completely stressed-out and couldn’t handle everything, and now I feel really in control.”

“I’m ready to work … The show will speak for itself. It’s a great show.”

I am glad that she set the record straight. Welcome back Mischa

According to www.screenindia.com, Mischa has been hitting the gym a lot recently.

“Mischa is really focused on getting into shape,” Contactmusic quoted a source as telling People magazine.

Another one added: “She has been doing a lot of conditioning with weights as well as cardio on the treadmill, and some kickboxing. She’s been very consistent and she seems focused.”

It is great that she is keeping in shape, and she is focused. I do not know this for a fact, but I was just thinking about how it must be hard for her to be playing a model in The Beautiful Life. She has to be in shaped, but not get to thin. Months back, Mischa was told to gain some weight because they show did not want to set a bad example for the girls who are watching the show,

According to Jennifer Godwin, writer for www.eonline.com, Ashton Kutcher is standing up for Mischa Barton, and he puts the rumors to rest that Mischa is being cut from the show.

“[Mischa] was never unavailable for a day of work…Mischa’s in New York working today.”

Ashton continued , “The great thing about Mischa for this show is we have a lot of young cast. She’s done it before. On The O.C. she was one of the leads in this big soap opera.”

So Mischa and her fans do not have to worry about her being out of the job.

“[Mischa's role] is very prominent. She’s one of our lead players.”

Great News! Mischa Barton is out of the hospital. According to http://latimesblogs.latimes.com, Ashton Kutcher says that Mischa is doing great.

“I can tell you right now Mischa Barton is doing great.”

According to a statement giving to www.people.com, Mischa “will be resuming production as planned with the rest of the cast in NYC,” her rep said. “She’s back to business as usual.”

I am so glad that she doing better. Maybe we will hear from her soon on her website. I have to admit, I had been concerned, like I am sure that many of you have been. Thank goodness to twitter and Ashton Kutcher.

Was Mischa Released Too Soon

According to the New York Dailey News, a insider is afraid that Mischa was let out of the hospital too soon,

“Mischa needs more aggressive treatment over a long period of time. It’s only been a matter of days since she was released from the hospital, and I think she definitely wasn’t there long enough,” said the insider.

We will have to see. If that source is talking about depression it can be handled in many ways, and yes one of them is out of the hospital so people can be with their love ones and do what they love to do. It is more depressing in the hospital.

But. I am not saying that Mischa was or was not depressed. It just sounds like the insider is pointing to that.
