“So guys India has been amazing. A little frenetic, as they do things a little different here! So it’s been tough with the long shoot days to check in much! But the people are amazing, so eager to please and I’ve learned so much from them.

I’ve been having an amazing spiritual exploration visiting Hindu temples and learning about Buddhism, both beautiful religions. Hyderabad where we’re filming is a real inspiration in the fact that Christians, Muslims and Hindus all get along so harmoniously. I must admit I used to make fun of people who were all into yoga and chai tea thinking it was another ridiculous health fad. But now I’m that person! First of all Masala Chai tea, the traditional way with milk and sugar is delicious, and this is coming from a brit who only likes my breakfast tea!

I must say my goal coming here was to learn to play the sitar and it’s coming along real slow as apparently it’s not that easy to procure a great sitar teacher here, I guess it not late 60’s with Ravi Shankar and George Harrison roaming around unfortunately!!!!

Goa was my christmas break, and it was stunning, I actually went to South Goa (which isn’t the party side of town) thats the North bit, but I’ll post tons of footage for you guys out there. If only technology didn’t hate me and I was decent with electronics! But I went parasailing, jet skiing and swimming in the ocean for ages every day. The colors, fabrics, food will blow your mind….so stay tuned to see me on my vacation and what I got up to.

It doesn’t sound that bad of a movie. As a matter of fact, I want to see it. Well as long as I am not by myself.

OK! Australia

According to Mischa Barton’s website, she is in the end of the year issue of OK! Australia, which can be found in stores now.

The article talks to Mischa about her upcoming films, her philanthropic work, her line of hand bags and head bans.

I would just like to set the record straight and say that I am not, nor have I ever been, dating Jon! Jon and I met a few months ago through mutual friends at a concert in LA and we have been good friends since. We have a similar taste in music and we always have a great time together, but it is completely platonic!

As for the “hand-holding” at the T-Mobile G1 event mentioned in the story — If any “hand-holding” did go on, it was done only to lead each other through crowds or while dancing. It’s so funny to me the conclusions that are often drawn from the most insignificant of details! People need to stop reading so far into things.

It is great for celebrities to have their own blogs, so they can keep in touch with their fans and straighten out rumors that have been started.

Mischa’s New Man?

According to www.hollyscoop.com, Mischa Barton is now seeing British rock star, Luke Pritchard, who is the lead singer to The Kooks. The band sings alternative rock, Britpop, and Indie rock.

Pritchard confirmed that Mischa and he are going out to the UK’s The Mirror, saying, “I’m very lucky. She’s beautiful, so I feel lucky she decided to go out with someone like me. It came about because we have lots of friends in common and kept going to the same parties.”

Luke plans on seeing more of Mischa, even when she is back in LA. “I plan to enjoy myself and hopefully see more of Mischa. She is in LA. She has work to do.”

It has been rumored that Mischa Barton is dating Tom Wright. Tom is the son of Radio 2 DJ Steve Wright, according to Now Magazine Online.

The couple has recently been seen in Camden at The Hawley Arms pub.

“It’s early days but Tom is already bragging about the relationship,’a source tells The Sun.

“He and Mischa have been out on a couple of dates and Tom’s been flashing the cash to impress her.”

I maybe wrong but flashing cash to someone that already has money does not really seem important. It is great that he is treating her right, but look at the other people who she has dated like Taylor Locke. Again, I maybe wrong, but I do not see her as a gold digger.

Mischa Barton on “Ugly Betty?”

According to http://tv.hollyscoop.com, it is rumored that Mischa Barton will appear on ABC’s Ugly Betty. It looks like the producers are looking for someone to possible replace Lindsay Lohan. It will be for a guest role for five episodes.

“Mischa’s career is at a standstill, so this might be great for her. It’s not a done deal yet, but talks continue,” says an insider.

I think it would be great if everyone accepted the deal, and that Mischa would appear on the hit TV Shows, which happens to be one of my favorites.

Mischa does have a movie coming out sometime in 2009, called “Walled In.” Barton plays the main character Sam Walczak..

Sounds like a great movie.

Mischa Barton sat down with writer Laura Jackson, writer for www.drapersonline.com, for an interview.

Here are a few of the questions and answers during the interview:

Where is your favorite place to shop?

“I love shopping in New York, it is so vibrant. When I come to London I go to all the usual haunts such as Topshop and Portobello Market, which are both favourites of mine. I also have a passion for vintage shopping. Where I live in the Marais in Paris there are some great vintage shops. I recently picked up a beautiful vintage Lanvin shirt dress for just 12 Euro (£10).” Mischa said.

Who is your fashion icon and why?

Mischa answered, “Vivienne Westwood’s clothing epitomises what fashion should be. It is always beautifully cut. It’s amazing the way she throws classic and out-there pieces together.”

“This is something I’ve really wanted for a long time, I’m just excited to have a real connection with my fans and put some truth out there,” said Mischa, “I just think there’s all kinds of misconceptions on the internet these days and I really think that the internet can be used for good and for bad and there’s all kinds of crap that’s written about me. Half the time I look at the internet and read these stories and they’re just so outlandish and not true at all and I don’t want my fans to have the wrong idea of who I am as a person.”

Knit One, Save One Campaign

According to Tim Saunder, writer for www.looktothestars.org, Mischa Barton knitted a hat for a baby in Ethiopia, which is part of her Save The Child program and the Knit One, Save One campaign which started last month.

On her website Mischa wrote, “I knitted [the] cap a few weeks ago, which was then delivered to Ethiopia and given to an expectant mother who was waiting to give birth in her incredibly primitive home,” wrote Barton. “The baby was delivered with the help of a birth attendant that had been trained by Save the Children. The birth attendant put the cap on the newborn’s head in order to prevent hypothermia.”

I love this idea of knitting hats for a baby, too bad that I do not know how to knit.

Mischa continued writing about her trip to South Africa with the charity, “I visited a primary school in Soweto. Many of the children there are orphans or are infected with the AIDS virus. The kids and I read together, I helped serve them their lunch, and then after school my boyfriend at the time and I drove one of the little boys home. Just seeing where these children come from and the lives that they lead really opened my eyes to how much there is to be done in the world.”

“It truly was a life changing experience and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to spend time with these children. I have every intention of returning in the near future”

I know I have said this a lot, but I love to see a celebrity making a difference in other peoples lives.

There are other celebrities that also knit for the charity. Gwyneth Paltrow, Rebecca Romijn, Debra Messing, Lisa Edelstein, Vera Farmiga, and Patricia Arquette.

Mischa seems to get slammed more in the media without telling about the things that her fans want to know about. Like what projects she is up to? Who she is dating? What charity events has she been to and so on.

Fans of Mischa do not want to know what they media thinks of her thighs, weight, or slamming about the way she dresses.

As a step-child of the media (blogger), I have decided to say good things about her. I love the way she dresses, even when she dresses like a “hippie.” If I could get away with her style I would. There is nothing wrong with her thighs or her weight. She is a talented actress and should be in the same category as Selena Gomez, Angelina Jolie and Reese Witherspoon.

Even though she has had some rough times with her DWI etc. She has pulled herself together. Now honestly on her relationships. I do not think she will stay single for long.

She is rumored to be in the movie Upstate. The only information on the movie is that it is about “The lives of four suburban families living in Upstate NY are juxtaposed before and after the 9/11 tragedy,” according to www.imdb.com.

We need news about her. If only I had a way to interview her.

According to www.eonline.com, if McCain won the presidency, Mischa stated she “probably would have taken my residency out of this country.”

That is a sad way to look at it, but that is the way she feels. So, I guess her fans are lucky that Obama won.

“I thought it was so good because he won so early and I had just voted three hours before,” said Mischa Barton. “I was just blown away.”

There are many people that feel the same way.

If she got invited to any inaugural balls, Mischa would be wearing, “Something fabulous like Chanel.”

If invited, she would not be the only one. Michelle Obama wants the Jonas Brothers to sing at the inauguration.

So I did it in the most low key way possible - I didn’t make a fuss about it and I didn’t tell a lot of my friends. I just did the program and got through it.The thing is I hate drunk drivers. Living in L.A., I can’t stand them, and that is why I was so disappointed in myself. It’s so not worth it when you put other lives at risk.”
