Mischa Barton Speaks Out.

Mischa Barton is finally talking about her DUI, which took place early in the morning on December 27. When she got pulled over, the police also found out that she did not have a valid license.
“Obviously I’m 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case,” she told Ryan Seacrest, on his LA radio show. It is great that at least one celebrity is owning up to what she or he did. She didn’t blame her friends, parents or her past.
“I’m really disappointed in myself. I don’t know what to say about it, except that I’m not perfect, and I just don’t ever intend to do something this stupid again.” I hope she does learn something from her DUI. I do not want her to be one of them that we have to worry about something happening to them. Those who are having a nervous break down, or one that is in and out of rehab Maybe she can be a spoke person for not drinking and driving.
“I was out with some friends and actually hadn’t been driving earlier in the night, but I wanted to get my car home.” Mischa explained. “I can’t really get into specifics. We’ve got the case coming up, and I’m not supposed to say anything about what happened, I was pulled over,” as she continues the interview with Seacrest, “I didn’t have a license. I grew up in New York, the land of people who don’t have to drive. It’s always been the toughest thing about living in L.A. for me. I usually try not to get behind the wheel.”
It looks like she has learned her lesson. At least I hope so. I do not want her to end up like the other celebs who have been in the news recently. There are many adults and teens out there doing the same thing. The truth is, for personal reasons, I do not like any kind of alcohol. So I do not drink alcohol. But to anyone that has made a mistake, they deserve a second chance.
