According to The Guardian, Mischa Barton loves to shop for clothes, but who can blame her.
“I do, particularly for vintage … But I’m not big into the act of trying things on. I just like scrounging around for stuff, I’ll only try it on if it looks like a really suspicious buy.”
I do not like to try things on either, but we may have different reasons. I am not sure what her’s is, but I am afraid that I will not look very good in a piece of clothing that I really want.
When asked what can’t she live without Barton said, “My iPod. I buy a lot of music. I listen mostly to classic rock. Led Zeppelin, Band America, Modest Mouse, Kings of Leon, things like that.” When promoted she did bring her Black Berry also, but “Yeah, that’s pretty essential, but I wish I could live without it sometimes.”

According to Dimi Gaidatzi from People.com, www.people.com, Mischa Barton is enjoying her stay in Paris. She has been busy touring Paris.
“I love the art and the museums. So far I have been hanging out, really – going to art exhibitions, lots of museums. I’ll have my place there for about a year,” said Barton.
I cannot grasp the idea that there are many art exhibitions and museums there. There maybe only one of each where I live. But… When I think of Paris, I do picture people painting and writing poetry.

Mischa Barton’s handbags will be out in July 2008, in London, according to www.telegraph.co.uk.
For the most part, Barton designed them on her own, “I didn’t have anybody designing with me. Though that doesn’t mean I won’t - and maybe it would be a good idea if I did.” Mischa said. “All they did was let me know what leather was out there and send me swatches. That kind of thing. There was a lot of sending things back and forth.”
I have seen a couple of pictures of the handbags and they look great. The cost of the bags are anywhere from £25 to £170.

According to hellomagazine.com, Mischa Barton attended a celebrity carnival in Los Angeles for a children’s AIDS charity, which has raised more than 25 million in 18 years.

“I’m living in Paris right now so I thought I would come down for a few days,” said Barton. I have heard how beautiful it is, but have not been able to travel to see it yet.
Why move to Paris? There are other places out there that would be a great place to live. “No reason,” Mischa said, “I’ve just always wanted to move there. I’m enjoying some time off.” Mischa has been promoting her new movie, You and I. According to www.imdb.com the movie is about, “two teenage girls, Janie (Shantel VanSanten) who is American and Lana (Mischa Barton) who is Russian, fall in love after meeting at a t.A.T.u concert and are swept into a dangerous world of obsession, drug abuse and murder.”
Mischa has been visiting the Paris scene since she was young, “I’ve been coming here since I was 12, so I know the deal,” she said. “It’s always good fun.”
Many celebrities have more than one place that they call home.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is praising Mischa Barton for taking a stand against recent photographs that had been taken by paparazzi, according to www.thaindian.com. Hewitt thinks it is “really brave and cool.” The pictures, of Mischa, were taken in Australia while she was sunbathing.
According to www.accesshollywood.com, she called the photographer invasive, “rude” and “abrasive.” The pictures showed Mischa with having cellulite on her backside and legs. Mischa representative said that the pictures of her were doctored. The photographer denies it.
Not to long ago, Jennifer had close to the same problem, “I think it’s great. I think it’s okay for them to take pictures and everything and I think it’s okay for us to defend ourselves and speak out about it. I think it’s really brave and really cool and that’s what make us people.” She does cover it.
The photographers are doing their job. They were not putting her life in danger, but she has the right to stand up and defend herself. But still, I would not want any unflattering pictures taken of me.
Hewitt continues, “I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinised. To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image. A size two is not fat. Nor will it ever be. And being a size zero doesn’t make you beautiful.”
She makes a wonderful point. She is worried, like many of us, about what girls think of their body image. You all are wonderful the way you are. Yes, that includes looks.
